Berlin

On Tuesday, I went with my family to Berlin for one day. Our train depatured at 7:52 from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. We arrived there exactly one hour later. Berlin Hbf. is one of the newest train stations in Germany. It opened in June or May 2006, I'm not sure. Its also one of the biggest train stations in Europe, like the station in Leipzig.
When we arrived, we first visited this train
station. Its really good, but sadly, there are no plants or so. In Leipzig Hbf. there are more plants, and it don't look so cold. Next to the Berlin Hbf. is the Spree-River and the governmental district. There are buildings like the Swiss Embassy and the Parliament. Then, we visited the "Sandsation 2006" exhibition. Its an exhibition where artists from several countries built sand sculptures. They are looking really nice! Later, we drove with "S-Bahn" (light rail / urban rail) and Bus to the German Airforce Museum. You can see real airplanes of the German Airforce and equipment there. At 17:02 we depatured at Berlin Hbf. and arrived at Leipzig Hbf. some times later. I had a really nice day and I hope, I can go to Berlin next year again!!
