Term report!

Good afternoon!
I didn't wrote into this blog for quite a long time, but now, I'm back :-)
As you know, I'm not only going to work, I'm also going to the theory school. In Germany, the school-year is divided into 2 terms. The first term starts after the summer holidays, the second term, after too but without a break).

After each term, you will get a report. The summer-report is more important than the winter-report (it is just an information), but you will send your latest summer report with all your application.

In Sachsen (the state I live in), the first term of school-year 2006/2007 is over today, so the theory school gave me my report.

German language - 2 (A)
Ethics - 2 (A)
Social studies - 2 (A)
English - 1 (A+) (I know, this text is full of mistakes :-) )
Programming - 2 (A)
Computer systems - 2 (A)
Economy - 2 (A)

The average is 1.85 (A+).

I wonder, that my report was that good, but I will keep on studying :-)

Tour2Korea

Hey!
As you may know, I'm very interested in Asian countries and culture. Next to Japan, Korea is also a point of interest for me. At a great website about Korea, called Tour2Korea, you can get free information stuff about Korea. I ordered some stuff about Korea last time, and now, I finally got it. It is really free and pretty interesting. The stuff I got were an Korea map, Seoul-map and an German Travel Guide about Korea.

Winter - not in Germany!

2 Posts ago, I wrote about the first snow in Germany. One day later, the snow has gone away. Now, we have about 8°C every day, that is really not like winter. Usually, in January here is snow, it's cold and everyone want to have summer. But not this year. It's really crazy weather over here. The first spring flowers are growing up and so on. It seems like they forgot the winter in Germany this year.

First snow!

Hello,
today, Leipzig got the first snow for this winter. The snow is coming down very fast, and is still about 1,5cm.
I took two pictures. The first one will show you the snow at 12:45, the second, at 14:15. Its nice to see the snow falling down, but, the weather forecast said, it will be melt away in at least two days.

Christmas 2006

Hey! Merry Christmas!
It's 26th of December in Germany today, that means: second christmas day.
Here in Germany, there are 2 xmas days. 1st - 25th Dec., 2nd - 26th Dec. These two days are national holidays, so shops are closed and most people are at home, and not in their offices.

As you may know, in Germany, the people exchange their presents on 24th Dec. My family exchanges the presents on this day, in the afternoon, too.

I got Red Steel (Nintendo Wii game), Jelly Bean box (tasty sweets), kind of picture with my name in Katakana letters in it (ファビヤン), lots of other sweets and a Japanese decoration for my window. There are japanese (??) letters on it. Does anyone know, what these letters means?

Wii is here!

Sorry that I didn't wrote here for a long time. The reason was, that I simply didn't knew what I should write here. But now, I found a topic to write about. As you may know, the newest Nintendo game console is called "Nintendo Wii". The American release was in November, the Japanese and Australian in December, and finally, Europe got Wii last week, on December 8th, too. I went to Saturn (a German electronic store) in the Leipzig main station. When I arrived there at 9:00, there were about 15 people waiting for the Wii. As the store opened at 9:20, there were about 75 people. Everyone went in our long row to the game-section of the store. At the Wii-point, they had about 100 consoles for sale. I got one of them, too! I also got the games "Zelda: Twilight Princess", "Wii Play" and the "Nunchuk Controller". The "Wii Sports" game was already included in the Wii box.

The main thing is the new controller of Wii, it is like a TV remote and it recognize your moves. So, in the Tennis game, you can swing your controller like when you are playing tennis. It is really interesting and very funny. Try it out, if you have a chance :-)

Btw.: Wii is sold out in Germany now.

Wednesday morning

Good morning,
it's now Wednesday morning, 7:24 in Germany. I'm in my office since 25 minutes, and it's nothing important to do now, so I'm gonna write some stuff here. Last week wasn't much important here, so my post will be a little short now (also because my office PC is installing updates and want to be restarted >_<). Well, I will post about my morning. So, during the day's I am working, I get up at 6:00. I'll try to be fast in washing, so I have to at 6:30. My bus departs 6:41, I have to change the bus at 6:50 and be in front of the company at 6:58 :D. There, I go straight to my office, say hello to my co-workers and turn on the PC. Usually, there are a lot of e-mails to read and to answer, but today there was none. Then, I check several websites and communities for activity and start to work (if there is something to do). If not, just surfing in the internet. At 9:00, some co-workers and me are going to have breakfast in the company's resturant in the 3rd floor (my office and the IT-department are in the ground floor). Sometimes we are using the elevator, sometimes the escalator. Then, we have a breakfast break, continuing working and will have lunch at 12:30.

Thats my everyday morning :-)

I didn't wrote a long time

Good evening! I know, I didn't wrote a long time. But now, its time to practice my English haha.
Last two weeks, I went to theory school to learn theory things for my job. It was quite nice, but I prefer to work in my company ^^. I also planned some stuff for my birthday next Thursday. I'll invite my family (uncles, autns and so on).

This morning, I was a little bored, so I watched Navy CIS - DVD (season 1 part 1, disc 2, epsiode "Schlimmer als der Tod"). I am able to set up the DVD language to German, English, Italian and French. So I watched the episode in English. It was hard to understand the American English, so I also turned on the English subtitles. It's interesting to watch the episode I saw in German again in English. It will also improve my listening and pronounciation skills, I think.

Navi CIS (NCIS) is a US series about the "Naval Criminal Investigative Service". The main characters are Special Agent Gibbs, S.A. DiNozo, S.A. Todd (and later Officer David). Every character is great and the actors are pretty good! If you want to get the DVD, check it out at Amazon Germany or Amazon US. Attention: In Germany, there are two boxes of Season one! DVD-Box #1.1 and DVD-Box #1.2. In the US, its only one box, including #1.1 and #1.2.

If you are in Germany or Europe, you can also watch it Sunday 20:15 and Thursday 22:15 on Sat1 channel (German language only) for free. I really recommend to give it a try.

Hamburg

Hey! Yesterday, I went with my family to Hamburg. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany, and its also one of the 16 German states. It is located in Northern Germany between Niedersachsen and Schleswig-Holstein states. We went to Hamburg by using the High speed train ICE (InterCityExpress). From Leipzig to Hamburg, you need about 3h with this train. The distance is about 400km.

When we arrived at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Hamburg main station) we took the S-Bahn (urban rail) to the habour. Hamburg is located at the river Elbe. Its one of the biggest rivers in Germany. The "Hamburger Hafen" (Hamburg habour) is very famous in Germany and one of the main sights in Hamburg. When we reached the habour and the Elbe river, we did a guided bus tour trough the city. It was a pretty nice tour and you can see many sights from a double decker bus.
When we were back at the habour, we took the U-Bahn (subway) to the city center. The main shopping streets in Hamburg are the "Mönckeberg Straße" and the "Jungfernstieg". In Jungfernstieg are especially expensive shops, so you better don't buy anything or you will loose lots of money. Haha.

The picture will show you the town hall of Hamburg. The Hamburg Town Hall as two more rooms than the Buckingham Palace in London (but the rooms in Hamburg are a lot smaller, haha). It is a pretty nice city, and you should visit it, if you come to Germany.

This afternoon, it was really crazy in my company. At first, an quite, but very very annoying sound. Then, the sound became more loud. A siren started outside. The first telephone rung, then the second, then all phones started to make very very very loud sounds. Everyone left the office and run to the parking area in the front of the company building. I never thought, that 550 people can leave their offices in less than 2 minutes. Than, a men with an megaphone went in the middle of the parking area and said, it was only an alarm on probation. So nothing is happened and everyone is OK!

I was very surprised, because I never had an alarm on probation and I never had a real alarm. But it was an good experience!

I'm still alive!! NO PANIC!

No Panic, I'm still alive and I didn't forgot to write anything into my English blog! Last Week, I worked from Wednesday to Friday only, cuz' Monday, I had a free day and Tuesday, there was the "Day of German Unity", the national holiday of Germany. Work is very good, I like to work there and its very fun!

Friday, I went bowling. Of course, I like it, but I'm not good in it. I was 3rd of 7 people.

Yesterday I had much fun with my friend Julia! We phoned and had webcam conversation. It was quite funny, but my English is too bad to write this all here. Here, I put 2 pictures of our conversations.

Live from Leipzig (SN), Germany

A new member in the Japanese royal family was born on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday (German time). Princess Kiko has born her son in an Tokyo hospital. The last male member, Prince Akishino, of the imperial family was born in 1965, so after more than 40 years, the family got a new boy. Many people in Japan and governments all over the world sent greetings to Princess Kiko and celebrated the new prince. His name will be announced next week, officials said.

School

Good evening!
Now, I will visit the school to learn theoretic things for my job 2 weeks. The first days were OK, the teachers and classmates are really nice. In Germany, we have a dual apprenticeship system. That means, you will learn your job in the company and in the school. In my case, I will visit the school for 2 weeks, than 4 weeks company, again 2 weeks school, and so on. Its really different to other countries, but it is a very good system. The only bad thing is, the school is far away my home *haha*. The school is located in Leipzig-Lindenau, this is an other part of the city. In the morning, I have to get up 5:30 and take bus and tram at 6:21. I have to change bus and tram for 2 times. So I will arrive at school 7:11. School is out at 14:40 or 12:40, so I will have good times :-)

The lessons are (most times) interesting. Today we had EBA (kind of programming), ITS (IT-Systems) and BGV (processes in economy). Tomorrow, I will have Politics, German language, BGV and ITS again.

Second work week over

Good afternoon! My second week at work is over now. The week was really interesting and funny. We learned a lot and enjoyed working much. My co-workers are pretty friendly and we laughed very much. This week, we participated in a "telephone and communication training". They trained us how to phone well and enjoy phoning. It was very very interesting. Today, Friday, we did a trip to Bad Lauchstädt. Near the city of Bad Lauchstädt, my company has an other building with gas tanks. We met a worker there. He told us about the reservoirs in the underground of the building. I also took some pictures of the companies headquater today, while I was waiting for the bus. You can enjoy them on Flickr. Next two weeks, I have to go to school to learn the theory.. I hope it will be good too.

Hi! Yesterday I started my apprenticeship in the IT section of the Verbundnetz Gas AG (VNG) in Leipzig. We had an introduction, they showed us the building and we had to fill out several formulars on Monday. Today we had MS Word 2003 lessons (no, thats not a ship, its an text editor). We learned many new things and refreshed our knowledge about this program. It was an really interesting and funny day. Tomorrow, we will continue with lessons about Excel 2003.

Baltic Sea

Hey! I'm back from the Baltic Sea. I stayed in the house of my dads aunt in Greifswald. It was a really nice time and I had much fun there. On Wednesday evening we arrived at Greifswald. Thursday, we visited the beach in Karlshagen on the Usedom-island. Friday, we went to the habour in "Wieck" (a part of Greifswald). There are many boats and a nice view to the sea. We also drove with the ferry from Ludwigsburg to Wieck. In the afternoon, we met the daughter of my fathers cousin. She showed us the city centre of Greifswald and a beautiful museum. Sad to say, but cameras wasn't allowed there. In the evening, we had BBQ with my dads aunts and uncles, but unfortunaly, it was very rainy on this evening haha.On Saturday we went with Anne to the beach in Lubmin. It was really nice there! Then, on Sunday we said goodbye and drove back to Leipzig.

Berlin

On Tuesday, I went with my family to Berlin for one day. Our train depatured at 7:52 from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. We arrived there exactly one hour later. Berlin Hbf. is one of the newest train stations in Germany. It opened in June or May 2006, I'm not sure. Its also one of the biggest train stations in Europe, like the station in Leipzig.
When we arrived, we first visited this train station. Its really good, but sadly, there are no plants or so. In Leipzig Hbf. there are more plants, and it don't look so cold. Next to the Berlin Hbf. is the Spree-River and the governmental district. There are buildings like the Swiss Embassy and the Parliament. Then, we visited the "Sandsation 2006" exhibition. Its an exhibition where artists from several countries built sand sculptures. They are looking really nice! Later, we drove with "S-Bahn" (light rail / urban rail) and Bus to the German Airforce Museum. You can see real airplanes of the German Airforce and equipment there. At 17:02 we depatured at Berlin Hbf. and arrived at Leipzig Hbf. some times later. I had a really nice day and I hope, I can go to Berlin next year again!!

Balloons + Noodles + Sister = Funny day

Today, my post will be a little bit longer, so I will start now ^^.
Every year, there is a festival in my city. Its called "Saxonia Ballon Festival", one of the non-boring festivals :P. Many balloons all over the world come to Leipzig and fly over the city. If the wind is good, the balloons will fly over our house. This morning, the wind was good. I saw many many balloons in the air and most of them flown next to our house. There are not only common balloons, there are also balloons which looks like humans, a beer-glass or a mobile phone. Its very exciting to see them. When the wind will be good, next days too, I will see the balloons again. 3 balloons landed near our house. It was exciting to see them get down. I took 129 pictures about the balloons. We also went to Lidl (one of the many discount supermarkets in Germany). They have Asia Day today. It means, you can buy Asian drinks and food. We bought Kombucha Drink, Asia Exotic Drink, White Tea Drink, Shunji, 4x instant noodles, rice noodles, sushi, crakers and crab-chips. I cooked two of the instant noodles for lunch, to eat them together with my sisters. Well, I liked the noodles very much, but my sister only liked to make sounds like "BUAAAHH!" or "IHH!" or "I don't like that". Well, I cooked that, so I said "you eat the half of the bowl, and you stand up until I say!", so she ate the most of her noodles. For dinner, I will eat Pizza tonight. I love Hawaii Pizza very much!!

Yesterday, I went with my family in the afternoon to one of the many lakes arround my city. The water was warm, we enjoyed swimming and laying on the beach. My dog was also swimming :D On some beaches, dogs are allowed. So, we go to these beaches.

Graduation Ceremony

Yesterday, one part in my life finished: the schooltime. We (all 3 graduation classes in my school, parents and teachers) celebrated from yesterday to midnight our graduation ceremony + graduation party. At first our class teachers and the headteacher gave the graduation reports to us. Most of us got a good report, like me :-). The average of all my marks is 2.06 (B in American system). I'm very proud of it, and I did my best ^^;.
After the readout of the reports, the funny part of the evening started. We got our students magazine, enjoyed dinnerbuffet and drinks, danced and laughed very much. It was the last evening where I saw all the sudents and teachers. Some students performed dances, they learned with Mrs. Brückner (one of our teachers) before. For example, two boys in my class danced ballet in ballet clothes :-) It was very funny. Teachers danced with us, too. The DJ was very nice and played good music! We went back home about 00:00, and when we reached, I found a big surprise! I got a cupon for free sushi for 2 persons, together with chopsticks, a picture made by my sister and flowers on a little japanese styled "desk". Thanks very much!! It was a great evening and I will miss the students and teachers!!

..these numbers are not the lottery winners, these numbers are the current temperatures in Germany. Good weather for my summer holidays, because they started yesterday ^^. I will have no school, no work for 1 month and 10 days. Isn't that great?

Well, let's change the topic. The World Cup 2006 in Germany is over, and everyone knows, Italy is champion. I really wanted that France will win, but nobody can change that anymore. Congratulations to Italy for win this world cup, but next time, we won't give you that chance! Be prepared Italian team *lol*. This week, I don't have anything to do, so I will just relax, reading manga, play computer and DS and watching TV ^^.

World Champion of Hearts

Yesterday, there was one of the most important matches of the soccer world cup. Germany won against Portugal 3:1. It was a very pretty good game. You know, Germany can't be the real champion anymore, but Germany is still the world champion of hearts, so many people call it here. I'm proud of the German team, they are 3rd of this event! Nobody thought that before.

Now, we are ready for watching the final game between France and Italy. I really hope that France will win!! Please support France, too :-)

It's the 75th post of this blog, but I'm sorry to tell you that Germany lost the game against Italy.
They did their best, but Italy was better. Germany will beat all next time, and now I have to support France, because they are our next neighbour.

Thanks to everyone who supported Germany, I'm very thankful.
Now, I might be have to cry a little bit after I turned out the PC, I really hoped that my country will win, but I'm proud of the German team. I never thought, that they will be so strong.

I will go now, it's 23:35, thanks everybody who reads this.

I like summer! + Exams

You can't belive: I passed my arts exam with a mark 2+ (B+ in US)!! It was so great and I'm very happy to get this result. I wanna continuing studies for my next oral exam (Geography) on Monday, 10th. Today, we had a beautiful sunset, I made some photos and I hope you like them. Yesterday, some balloons were flying above our house, I also made some pics. Well, I really don't know what I should write now, but I feel, that there is anything to write. Today, we ate backed potatoes again, it was very tasty. I really like the food we eat here. You know, potatoes are for German people what rice is for Asian people. I don't like dry potatoes, but together with a nice sauce, they can be very good. Well, Germany won yesterday, the game was so exciting and so scaring in the first time. The German team did the best, and I'm proud to see them again in the quater final. Btw. at the third picture, you can see a train passing a train crossing. It was really luck to make this picture because I "played" with my cam and the train appeared. Well, I know, I wrote a lot senseless stuff today, and its really late. 22:44 in Germany now. Post + Fruit time!

Hey! I checked my postbox today, and what I found was a beautiful postcard from Cinnamon Bay on the US Virgin Islands! Thanks very much Miri!! Today, I went to arts preperation classes and we talked again about the arts exam. My oral arts exam is on Friday (June 30th) and starts at 8:40. About 9:30 its finished! Tomorrow, I need to prepare the last things for the exam. I think, I will pass it, and I hope I will pass it with a good mark.
Well, it is still warm and nice weather outside, plants and trees are growing. Like every year, in this time, many of our trees and bushes are giving fruits and berrys. This year, we have cherrys, red currants and gooseberrys. I like all of them, but still prefer the cherrys. By the way, we have 2 cherry-trees, one very small tree with sour cherrys and a big tree with lots of sweet ones. If you will visit Leipzig in early summer, we can eat fruit together ^_^. In autumn, we also have apples, walnuts and pears. Here is also a kiwi-plant in our garden but it starts to make fruits after 6 years, so next year we maybe also have some fresh kiwis. I hope!

Baked potatoes

Germany won 2:0 against Sweden! Congratulation!
Congrats also to Argentinia who won 2:1 against Mexico. They played in my city!!

Well, now to the facts ^^.
Yesterday, we had great weather, so we decided to make kind of barbeque. But it wasn't simple BBQ, we made baked potatoes. You only need aluminium foil, potatoes, a oven and some nice sauces to make it! After you made the fire, let it calmn down and put the potatoes (with alu. foil on it) into the hot ash. Leave them in the ash for up to 30 min. (its different from the size of your potatoes). When the potatoes are ready, just put them on your dish, dip with the sauces and enjoy!
We were sitting outside the whole evening and enjoyed the nice weather. Later, about 22:00, we saw a misterious light on the sky. It was yellow and moved very fast. My father said, it is the ISS space station, because its to high and to fast for planes. Some minutes later, I found a frog walking to our pond. After some time, he found the way and enjoyed the water. About 22:45 we went inside, because it was kind of late and fall in sleep :-) This morning, we all woke up very late, I woke up about 9:20, my sister 10:00 ^^.

Shopping time

Hey!
Today is Gemma's birthday! Happy Birthday from Germany to you!
Then, I went with my mother and grandmother into city centre to go shopping. At first, we went inside Main-Station, there I went to Money-ATM and then to "Saturn" (electronic shop). There I bought NINTENDO DS LITE - BLACK! A really nice gadget to play and have fun! I love it so much! We went thru' the city centre and then the big surprise, Japan was kicked out yesterday but they saled Japanese flags! I jumped to the shop and bought one! Very nice flag! We visited some big department stores, and so on. When you come to Leipzig, we should go to city centre! There are many nice places, nice shops, well, everything nice! We went back to the car and drove home.

Last school day!

YEAH!! Today I had my last lesson at school! I got my results of the written exams and I only have to go to school when I have my oral exams in some weeks! Isn't that good.

But first, my exam results:
"Fabian passed all his written exams with sucess."
German language: 2 (good)
English language: 2 (good)
Science - Biology: 2 (good)
Maths: 3 (satisfactory)

It's so good, to know these results. I also know, wich oral exams I have to take. My two oral exams are Geography and Arts (I don't like arts *cry*). I will do my best and try to pass them, too.

At the picture you can see the t-shirt my class wore today. We had kinda dress-code at school! We had 3 graduation classes this year.
1o-I: red t-shirts
10-II: light blue t-shirts
9H: orange t-shirts.

Our class-teachers also wore these shirts. At the front, every class printed a caricature of the class-teacher and the signature of the teacher. Don't be scared, my teacher don't looks like this ^^. At the back we have "AK 06". This means like "graduation class 2006". I also got some signatures of my other teachers at the back.

We had a lot of fun and looking forward to the oral exams.

Germany! Germany!

Today, its a really great day! I went to the very tiny shopping centre in my part of the city and saw the beautiful Germany-flag you can see on the picture. I bought the flag, without thinking anything, because it is big (150x90cm) and cheap (1.99€). I also wanted to buy a Japan-flag, but sadly the only had German ones. Now, the flag is outside my window. The second lucky part of this day is, that we didn't had school today because the hot temperature. It was 11:00 and we had about 40°C in the sun.
Third, today, Germany is playing against Poland and there is also the match Spain VS Ukraine in my city. Good luck to all teams (but Germany must win)! Fourth, I will eat spaghetti to lunch, so the whole day is perfect!

Summertime!

Sky: completly blue

Thats the weather we had yesterday noon. And today, it will be warmer as yesterday, they said! People relaxing in the sun, go swim, eating icecream and so on. We have a big summer feeling here in Germany. Also the world cup here is making a very good atmosphere. I watched all games, except England - Paraguay, because I was laying in the garden this time.
Today we have this games in our shedule:

Serbia & Montenegro VS the Netherlands - 15:00 - Leipzig
Mexico VS Iran - 18:00 - Nürnberg (Nuremburg)
Angola VS Portugal - 21:00 - Köln (Colonge)

Good luck to all the teams who are playing today! You can see, today is also the first game broadcasted from Leipzig, my hometown. I think, there will be many many people in the stadium and in the public viewing areas.

Now, I wanna go out, relaxing, continuing Japanese studies and have lunch :-)

WM 2006: Ready for the worlcup!

Hi everybody!
At 18:00 (German time), we start to celebrate the soccer worldcup 2006 with the opening game between Germany and Costa Rica in Munich (BY). All cities in Germany did their best to be prepared for the biggest German event this year. In my city, they rebuilt the central stadium, built new tram-stations, bus stops and roads, and so on. They also bought brand new trams for the worldcup. This trams are the longest of the world (45m). You can see one tram at the first picture. We are also welcoming all guests from aboard and hope, they have a pleasant stay here in Germany. Many people want to take part in this great events, so many cities built "Public View"-areas. There is a huge screen where you can watch all the games. At the second picture, you can see the public view area of Leipzig (at the time I took the picture, they still built the area). In the background, you can see the opera house. In the foreground, a TV station made a special party for young children and their "stars" (Bob the builder, Spongebob, ..).

In the next month, I will write news about the worldcup, the results and so on.

Dr. Kawashimas Brain Training

Hey,
today we had the release date of "Dr. Kawashimas Gehirnjogging" (Dr. Kawashimas Brain Train / Jogging) (KBT) in Europe. This game is based on studies by the Japanese professor Dr. Ryuta Kawashima. He is discovering the human brain. With KBT, Kawashima says, you can train your brain in 10 minutes per day. In this game, you have to solve different tasks like calculating, writing and so on. Before the tasks start, you can see wich part of your brain will be trained. The game is available for Nintendo DS only and will coast about 27,- € in the most German shops. Maybe you know this game by advertisments in Japan, US or other European countries. Here, many magazines and websites tested this game and said, it will be good one!
By the way, you can see my dog preparing for worldcup. She got 2 new balls for playing in the garden. Its very funny, because the balls can make sounds when they are in the dogs mouth (it squeaks).

Written exams + New frontpage released!

Wednesday, I wrote my last written exam in Biology. So I wrote all my 4 exams and only 2 oral exams are left. This exams start at the end of June but I don't know in wich exams I have to go now. The subjects in the oral exams, I get at June, 16th. This is the last school day. After this day, we only have oral exams and consultations with the teachers. My wishes for the oral's were Geography and Ethics, maybe they come true (please teachers, pleeeeeaaase!!!). Now back to Biology exam. It was good, not too hard and not to easy. There were tasks about digestion, leafes, genetic mutation and ecology. I hope I will get 2 (B). English was easy, too. The big topic of the exam was "Worldcup 2006" (what a surprise...). I had to translate a text, answer questions to a text, choose correct forms of words and fill them into gaps, translate a written dialouge and write an essay with about 120 words. The topic was "Is football important in your life?" My answer was just "no", but together with other 129 words.

Yesterday and today I also worked a bit on my website. I released a new frontpage, the "gate" of FabiNet (my website). You can enter this website by visiting http://www.fabinet.de.md or http://www.fnet.de.md. No panic because the languages, this site is multilingual (German + English). FTG 2 : Expressway Inline Skating

Do you ever walked on an expressway or do you were inline skating there? No? I exactly did that! Southern of Leipzig, they are build a new expressway that the cars doesn't have to drive trough the city centre, so it will be faster to go arround Leipzig. At the moment, we have 3 expressways (Autobahn in German) here near Leipzig. A9: Berlin - Leipzig - Munich, A14: Magdeburg - Leipzig - Dresden and A38: Leipzig - Göttingen. A38 is the newest expressway and is only partly completed yet. The part we were skating will be opened for cars on Monday, so it was the last chance to skate and walk on that part of the expressway. It will be opened for cars part by part. If some new exits are completed they will open them and will continue building the rest of the expressway. By the way, did you knew, that expressways are completly free for private cars in Germany? Only trucks, busses and big freight vehicles have to pay a toll. And, in whole Germany you drive on the right side of street, not like in the UK or Japan on the left. In Germany, we also have special rules for traffic signs. Everything which has to do with expressway (Autobahn) is colored blue, everything which has to do with federal roads (Bundesstraße) and common streets / roads is colored yellow. Expressways are connecting many cities in whole Germany and: you don't have a speed limit if there aren't special signs. It means, if you have a car which can drive 200km/h, you can drive 200km/h except there is a restriction on the part of expressway you drive on. So you can go very fast from city to city. From Leipzig to the baltic sea, you need for example about 4h for more than 400km if the expressway isn't full. By the way, you may can't translate the names written on the signs, I will translate them for you. Leipzig-Süd means "Southern Leipzig", "Neue Harth" is a part of Leipzig and "Belantis-Park" means theme park "Belantis. Ausfahrt = Exit. On our way back home, we also found some nice ponds where we ate something. You can see a picture, also here. FTG 1 : Leipzig Lakes and brown coal

thanks very much for using the FabiTravelGudie. In the FTG-Posts of this blog, I want to tell you more about Sightseeing and interesting facts about Leipzig and Germany. In this first FTG-Post I want to tell you something about the many lakes arround Leipzig. Maybe about 10 or 15 years ago, there were many open pits to mine brown coal arround Leipzig. Now, at some open pits isn't any more brown coal and the pits are closed.
The government decided to built a great recreation area with many lakes. And what they used as lakes? The old open pits! So they started to fill many many water into more than 3 open pits arround Leipzig. During the many years, more and more water filled into the pits and the first lakes are ready. At the moment, there are 3 big pit-lakes in the north and south of Leipzig and 2 more lakes are unter construction (the have to fill more water). Arround the lakes, they built new paths for inline skating and cycling. The most lakes also got a sand-beach or a stone-beach. In the summer, more and more people go to the new lakes to swim, relax, play volleyball or do many other activities. Today, my parents, sister and me went to such a pit-lake, but we weren't able to swim, because it was rainy and cold (our dog took a bath :-)). But the landscape was really great! In the next years, the lakes will become more and more attractive for the people. I want to enjoy swimming there in summer, too. One exam over, second is coming..

Hey! I wrote my first exam! The German exam was monday and I've chosen topic number 3. The task of this topic was "Driving licence with 17 years - yes or no?". After 4 hours, I wrote a draft with about 650 words and an final essay with about 735 words. So I wrote about 1385 words in 4 hours. It's really great and I felt very good after this time! Today I only went to preperation class for maths exam tomorrow. I hope I will pass it but I trained a lot to be prepared. (you need a "4" (D in US) to pass this exam and my average in maths is "3" (in US it's C).

On thursday, we have a public holiday in Germany. It's called Ascension Day and is a Christian holiday but everyone in Germany can have a free day, also if he isn't Christian (like me :-). On Friday our school is closed, because the teacher think its boring to go after Thursday only 1 day to school and the next day is also free. So I have 4 free days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and this is very cool!

Monday, I will have my English exam. I think, I will get "2" (B in US).

I will tell more about anything tomorrow, after the maths exam. It starts 8:00 and we have about 4hours to do the tasks.

Ready for the first exam!

Tomorrow, in the Free State of Saxony (the German State I live in (like OH, NC, FL in the US)) will have the first exam. This is the exam of German language. There will be several topics, I have to choose one and write an essay with 500 and more words about the topic. It sounds easy, but it can be really difficult, for example, if you don't like the topics. The exam will start at 8.00 and ends about 12.30. If you finished it before 12.30 you can still go home. By the way, when I was bored this morning (because nobody was there to talk) I took pictures. One of this picture is me ^^ Now, you know who is writing this stuff ;-) At lunch time, I went outside in our garden and took some pictures. You will find them here and the rest in my picture gallery!
By the way. I had already more than 10 people who participated in the "Drinking poll". Please scroll down 2 posts if you also want to participate or want to get more infos.

Yesterday evening was Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in TV. Its a really good show with many singers. I will explain it content now. There are about 20 singers from European countries. They are singing in a big TV show and at the end, people from many european countries can call a phone number and vote for their favorite act. But you can not vote for your own country.
Yesterday, Finland won the contest (but this was the most terrible song for me) so the next contest is in Finland. 2nd is Russia (I voted for them!) and 3rd Bosnia and Herzegovina. Germany got 36 points and is 15th. I hope, Germany will be better next year (in 2005, we got 0 points ^^").

OMG! What is this!?

I looked out of the window because there was a problem with TV satelite and I saw a thing I never saw before. The whole sky was getting black, wind was getting very strong and it became darker and darker. The white / yellow one is the normal sunset in the evening, and this in the middle are the black clouds. I think, it will give a big thunderstorm or it will rain very much. The clouds are going into eastern direction and I hope they can be away from here as fast as possible!!

At the moment, nothing special is happened. The most time, we have good weather (yes, sometimes it is rainy), school is good at the moment and the exams will begin on Monday. The first exam will be about the German language. In this exam, we have to write a essay with about 500 or more words. After the exams I will start to renew my webiste.

Yesterday, my class went to a theatre in Dessau (ST, Germany). We saw the story "Faust I" written by Göthe, a famous writer from Germany who lived many many years ago. It was still OK, but sometimes it was also a bit boring. Yesterday afternoon (about 14:45) we arrived back here in Leipzig and I drove with my bike home (I needed about 15min. from school).

I also watched some TV yesterday (yes, we have that in Germany ^^). I saw CSI:Miami, Monk and Dr. House. All this shows are translated into German so I can understand all. Today, there is CSI:Las Vegas on TV. I hope it will be a good show.

By the way, did you know that there is a kind of "primetime" in German TV? Here, the most popular shows, films, series are on 20:15 on TV. That is the time after the news (they start 20:00) so many people are watching this shows.

Germany has many different TV channels. There are public ones like ARD and ZDF and there regional channels (MDR, WDR, RBB, NDR, BR, HR, SWR) and private TV stations. The most popular private TV stations are RTL, SAT1 and Pro7. I heared, Germany has the most TV stations in Europe, but I'm not quite sure about that.

Yesterday, we had a nice barbeque in the evening. Some friends of my parents went to our house and we had lots of fun. Some minutes later, some big ballons were flying across our street. I posted some pictures of them here..
The frog is still getting on my nerves, he make his sounds the whole night. When I see him next time, he can search a new pond *^.^*. On monday, I can go to school, the doc said. I hope, it will be a good day. By the way, my exams start at May 22nd. I think, I will pass them :)

A new pet in our garden

I have to say welcome to a new pet who lives in our garden. May I introduce Mr. Frog and Mrs. Frog to you? Last time I counted, there were about 3 frogs in our pond. Frogs can be also a great music device. Specially if you want to take a rest, they start to sing, and it's impossible to fell in sleep. Maybe, they don't like us *hehe*. Today, it's warm again in Germany (look at the second picture, you can see: 31°C). Next time, I wanna install a new photo gallery where you can see all of my pictures.

This morning, I had to went to doc again. She said, the illness is getting better, but I still can't go to school this week. So I have to work for my exams here at home.
Do you know? I got the old notebook from my father! That's so cool! I can work and learn for school with it outside while enjoying the sun ^_^. It's really great. The notebook isn't the newest one, but it's still good to write texts and play some old games. The only problem is, that I don't have Internet in our garden :-(.

At lunchtime I have to take my sister home from school, we will drive with E-Roller, it's like an mini electronic motorbike. You can drive it without driving licence in Germany.

This afternoon, I have to go to another doc, this time, I have to go to dentist. They only want to check my theeths.

Summer feeling in Germany

Here in Germany its getting warmer more and more. In the weather forecast they said, Germany is currently the warmest country in Europe. Today we have about 30°C and it's very sunny. As you can see, 2 pictures with blossoms on the trees, but that pictures are taken last week ago. This week, all blossoms have gone and the leaves are already on the trees. Many people are enjoy the sun outside, me too :-)

Back in Germany

I'm back in Germany since last week, and it was very good in Croatia.
We had some nice days and always a good time. I'm sorry that I can't upload many pictures now, but if you want to see some, just write me an e-mail (son-goku22@arcor.de) and I will send some to you.
Last week, there wasn't something special, especially I got ill again (4th time in 8 weeks .......).
This time it's really hard and I can't go to school. I don't know how long I have to stay at home.

Ready for the trip

At first, an announcement: This is the 50th post in this blog. Thanks very much to all who are reading this stuff and commenting me here.

Today, I packed my bagage for my trip to Croatia. Our bus drives at 19:00 in front of our school and we will be in Croatia monday morning. On our trip we will pass Germany, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. It will be very exciting, I think. I will take many pictures and put the best ones on this site.

Maybe it's not possible to post anything here from Monday to Thursday, but maybe the hotel we stay at has an internet connection. I don't think so, but maybe..
If there isn't any internet connection, I'm also not able to check my emails or enter MSN and Skype.

Our bus will be back in Leipzig on Friday morning, so I hope, I can be here on lunchtime.

New Digicam

Yeah! Today I got advertisments from Marktkauf (it's a supermarket in Germany) in our newspaper. There was an advertisment of a really good digital camera. I thought "WOW! Thats great!" went to the shop and bought it ^^. The camera is called Digimax A55W and built by Samsung (a Korean company).
When I will drive to Croatia tomorrow, I can make beautiful pictures with it. I can save them all on a SD card and load them into my PC. More about my trip to Croatia tomorrow.
Yesterday, my friend from Switzerland drove back home. We had good days and lots of fun. I will go to Switzerland this or next year for some days, too!
On Thursday, I got a new Nintendo DS game. It's called "Tetris DS" and very funny. Everyone who know "Tetris" for Gameboy also can play "Tetris" for Nintendo DS. With this game you can play via Internet with up to 3 other people in the whole world. If you will buy the game or want to know more about it, contact me :).

First, about the German system. In Germany, 1 is the best, 6 is the wrost. It's like the American one, A best, F wrost.

Holidays!! + Maths pre examination

It's sad but it's true. My last school holiday starts tomorrow. We will have Easter (spring) holidays for one week, but after this week we are on our final school trip to Croatia. I'm really excited.
Why these are my last school holiday? I will start working on August 21th, so it's my last school holiday before I will graduate. Here in Germany, many people try to get a job after 10 years at school, if they don't get they try to go to an higher school, but I'm so lucky that I got a job. ... but I don't know why (O.O). Maybe its just that I can take a bath this evening, the sun is shining or whatever. Today I don't have any pictures here because I don't know what I can post here. Now I wanna post my timetable for tomorrow.
It's not a really beautiful one:
1st biology, 2nd biology, 3rd biology, 4th biology, 5th english language, 6th english language, 7th maths.
Thats it. School is finished 13:45 tomorrow, not so early and not so late.
Thursday, our Easter holiday starts and next monday, a friend from Switzerland will visit my house, I'm very excited.

New day, new post.

Hi! I know, it's a long time ago that I posted something here. First, thanks very much for your comments. I'm really happy to read them. At sunday, we had very exciting weather here. In the afternoon at was raining, and at the other side of the house it was sunny. We also had a beautiful sundown this day. You can see the sundown at the picture on the left.
This week, there wasn't something special. I became ill again, but thats not the problem now. Today I feel really good and I think I can go to school soon. Next week, our easter holidays are starting. The first day without school is Thursday, April 13th. Directly after the easter holidays (at Sunday, April 23th) we are starting our class journey to CROATIA!! I hope it will be fun and warm! I want to go swim :D ^^.

Second, sorry that I didn't wrote anything into this place. You know, my cardioviscular disease (thanks a lot, dictionary ^^) got a breakdown last Saturday. Now, I'm being fine, and I only have some head- and neckache. I can restart visiting school from Monday on.

I have really nice news. The weather here is getting better and better. Today we had about 5°C. On Sunday it will be 13°C they says in weather forecast. If I have time, I will go out and make some pictures of the spring flowers in our garden.

Do you know the program Skype? You can make free telephone-conversations between PC and PC and paid telephone-conversations between PC and common phone. The paid conversation fee is really low. For example you can call from your PC (everywhere) for only 1.7ct (2.0ct incl. VAT) to US, Germany and most European countries (landline only). The best is: I got 10 free minutes (20ct) today :D Oh, maybe you don't know, but ct. is the abbr. for Euro-cent.

Yesterday spring - today winter

Its very very crazy outside. Yesterday, we had about 10°C, it was green, blue sky, a really beautiful day. And whats now? Snow everywhere! It stopped snowing 10minutes ago and its still smelting but I can't see this white stuff anymore! Today it's a special day, it's my mothers birthday. She got a lot of presents, for example, book, CD, plants, and so on. She was very happy. I also found a great new legal place to listen music. Do you know Yahoo! Music? But only sometimes. Today, I went to school at 8:15 but a teacher said "I'm sorry, your russian teacher is ill, you should go back home." So I went back and writing this entry. But in about 1 hour, I will go back. At 11.00 my music lessons start. So I will be again till 13.00 at school and thats it. If I have time, I will write more in the afternoon.

Germany is gettin' white!

More and more snow falls down over Germany. Especially in state of Bavaria (Bayern) is very much snow. They had about 60cm snow per day, schools, kindergarten and other common buildings are closed because it's too dangerous for visitors / students to go there. In Munich (München), the capital of Bavaria only runs the underground, other public transport is closed because that high anmount of snow. Many snow also got Switzerland, in Zurich they have about 50cm.
Here in my area, in Leipzig we're only getting "small" anmounts of snow. We don't have any high mountains in near are. It is snowy since our maths lesson *hehe* (13:00) and we have currently about 2cm, but its still snowy so maybe tomorrow we have about 5cm.

Russian homework, clean-up, ..

Yesterday, I did first spring-cleaning this year. I started to clean one of my cupboards. You can see the picture of cleaning here. First = before cleaning. Second = after cleaning. It looks really better than before. In the evening I talked with my friend Miri. It was so nice! Today, school started later (like every 2nd week). So I was sleeping a long time (I woke up at 8:00). We had 2 german lessons and 2 politics lessons. It wasn't hard and it wasn't easy so it was perfect. In German lessons we did exercises about spelling. In politic lessons we filled out worksheets about the European Union (EU). This afternoon I did my russian homework. The task was to paint a map of the city centre and put in pictures of some sights. You can see the finished map at picture 3. Thats it for today.

School again - 10 weeks left for exams!

A bad day for all students in state of Saxony: winter holidays are over and the school starts again. Today it was quite OK. We didn't so hard things, most time, we only wrote. In English we did a thing like brainstorming, it was interesting. I was surprised this morning. I woke up and it was still daylight! So I took my camera and made a picture. At the first picture, you can look into east (sunrise) and at the second picture, you can look into west. There its still dark. In the afternoon I watched the movie "Hero". It was on TV yesterday evening and I recorded it. It was about chinese sword-masters. They had a fight between each other. Its a complex story and hard to explain for me. Thats it for the moment.

Dresden trip

Yesterday, I made a trip to Dresden. It's the capital of Saxony (one of the sixteen states in Germany). The depature of our train was 8:42 in Leipzig central station. You can see track 11 of Leipzig central station at the first picture. One hour later, we arrived after one stop in Dresden-Neustadt at Dresden central station. The central station of Dresden isn't really nice. There are a lot of workings, so there isn't a good atmosphere. Then, we started walking to SeaLife-center in Dresden. It's a big aquarium with fish and other water-animals who live in baltic sea and north sea. After we had to wait for our tickets, we entered SeaLife. It was not so big, but still OK. As we finished watching fish, we walked to the citycenter of Dresden. We saw the big "Church of our women". In world war II it was destroyed by british bombs, but many people made a donation for this church and they rebuilt it. You can see a part of the church at picture 2. We visited the church (no, I'm not religious!!) and then, we walked to the Elbe River. It's a big river across Germany and Czech Republic. It flies across the city of Dresden in direction Hamburg and North Sea. We had a good and foggy view over the river. You can see this view in northern direction on picture 3. After watching the river, we started to walk to Karstadt. It's a big department store and has shops in many German cities (in Leipzig is also one). The Karstadt in Dresden is a brand new building and has a good resturant in the 5th floor. Then I found a cool sign "Sushi Circle" at the basement of Karstad. My parents bought a big sushi box for me. I ate it in train back home. The depature of our train was 15:08 in Dresden central station. The train back home has one stop more as the train to Dresden. It stopped in Dresden-Neustadt, Riesa and Leipzig central station. After stopping in Leipzig, it droves to direction Frankfurt and Karlsruhe. At one of the picture you can also see the indoor-view of an ICE carriage. I really had a nice day with my family in Dresden!

Hey! The sun starts to shine! Does the spring is coming now? It would be cool! I made two pictures today. Birthday party

This saturday wasn't just a normal day. It was (like every year) the birthday of my sister. In the late morning, my parents, my sister, her friends and me drove to a indoor playground. My sister and her friends practised to play there, my parents and me were eating ice-cream :). At 13:00 we ate lunch in a party-room at the playground. The lunch was spaghetti, it was a good meal. Afternoon, my sister and her friends played Mario Party 7 (videogame, my sister got it today) with me and then, they played other games, pracitsed to dance and so on alone. Now it's 18:45 in Germany. I ate dinner some minutes ago, it was "only" bread with cheese / ham, but still OK. On monday we will drive to Dresden, it's the capital of my state (Free state of Saxony, Germany). There is located a big sea-center with many fish and other animals who live in the sea. We will start in the morning, and in the afternoon, we will come back. We're using high-speed train (the abbr. is ICE for "Inter City Express"), so we will be very fast! (Leipzig -> Dresden 1:05h). I will post some pictures here on monday evening or tuesday.

City trip

Yesterday, after I brung a letter to the company I want to work, I went to city to buy something at the department store. It was really interesting to see new (and expensive) things, but I only bought some things for a really good friend who has birthday on monday. Be prepared! After I finished shopping, I took bus to the central station and there, I changed to tram. Because workings they had to change different tram-numbers. It was really confusing to enter the right tram. Then, when I left it, I had to wait for bus again.. 20 Minutes and the bus was there, I was really lucky, because, it was getting a bit cold.

Now, it's raining and raining and I'm sitting in front of computer, practise to chat and write something in this blog. By the way, my sisters birthday is on Saturday. She is really excited for her presents!

Like every February, I've got holidays! I'm so happy! My last winter-holiday before I start working. I also got my first school report in this year. In Germany, we get school reports before winter- and summerholidays. My average is 2.25, thats good! (1.0 best, 6.0 wrost). The best average in our class is 1.2, but it's very hard to get such an average like this. Since yesterday afternoon, it's really snowy in Leipzig! We have about 10cm of snow now. They said, it will be cold till next thursday. This evening is the opening of 'Olympic Winter Games 2006' from Turino (Italy) on TV. Maybe I will watch it. From 22:15 to 23:15 are also some great comedies on TV in Germany.

You don't know how happy I am! We got back our math test today! I REALLY GOT 13 of 14 points!! I never was so good at maths. I hope, my good time at math will continue the rest of this term.

Its getting warmer!

Hi! How are you? I'm still fine, I only got a little cold. Thanks very much for visiting my blog :D Here in Germany, it's still getting warmer. This morning, it were only -5°C. The trees and plants looked like they were frozen. Maybe you can see it on the picture. At the second picture, you can see our little pond in the garden. Pond is frozen, I hope, the fish is still alive. Tomorrow I can sleep a long time :) Our chemistry-teacher is ill, so school tomorrow starts 09:20!! That's great! Then I only have to go German and Politics lesson. I'm so happy. It's now 13:26 and I ate lunch some minutes ago. I ate spagetthi!! I hope, I spelled correct. Well, now, I have to continue with report for politics.

Volleyball tournament, music classes

Hey! I had a long day yesterday and now I wanna post something into my blog. Yesterday, we hav volleyball tournament in our school. Five teams played "All VS All". I wanted to load one picture of tournament into this blog, but the picture-update doesn't works at the moment. Maybe it works later. Anyway.. today I had 5 classes. First, 3 classes russian and next two classes music. At music we did something about movie-soundtrack and sung "lemon tree". Hi! Long time no post, but, how are you?
I'm fine, except, it is really ugly weather in Germany. All we got is RAIN. I'm so lucky that I can stay in my house :D

Tonight, is a great event on TV. Maybe you already know "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (DSDS). It's a casting show based on "American Idol" concept. I like to watch it! Today I also got new "The Sims 2"-Addon. It's called "Nightlife". In this Addon you can buy cars, disco-funiture and lots of other things for your Sims-house. I'm playing the game togehter with my sister (or sometimes she's playing alone).

Anyway, it's really cold in Russia, and they said in weather forecast it will become cold in Germany, too. They said for sunday/monday night up to -15°C in my region. I hope, it won't be so cold.

A new chance -> Job test

Hi! After a long time, my new blog entry ;) Yesterday, I had a second job-test. If I did it well, maybe I get the job. I'm so excited. They want to write me at the end of January. After the test, I met with my father near his workplace and we ate chinese food (noodles, chicken, chinese vegetables) together. After the lunch, I took train to go to city centre. Here, local, common trains in metropolitan areas are called "S-Bahn". It's like "light rail" or "urban rail" in english. At the picture, you can see the S-Bahn-station near my fathers workplace. In city, I went to library, I brung book from my mother back to it. Today, we had 6 classes school, it was a little bit boring but OK.

Now I will continue japanese studies :D

New year celebration!

Today, I will tell you something about the new year celebration in my family, because, tomorrow is the last day in 2005! Sooo. Lets talk.
New Year celebration starts in evening with eating dinner. At new years eve we sometimes have special dinner. Then, we are watching TV togehter and make some little fireworks. When it will become 0:00, we are going outside and making real big firework togehter with neighbours and other people who are living in my street. I will put pictures from this firework here at Jan. 1st.
Today, my father was cooking chinese food. It was so tasty! I love it. This is the lunch you can see at the picture in the left top corner. I also talked with Yohei via MSN! It was so cool, thanks :D

Snow, snow, snow..

It's confusing. In most entrys I am reporting about snow, but thats the only thing I have to talk about. Yesterday, a big snowfall over the whole state started. Some planes got delays and so on. Tomorrow, I'm going to hair-cutting. My date there is 09:15. So I will be very sleepy than. I read a bit Harry Potter V and so on. Together with a japanese friend (Hi Suin :D), I improved my japanese. どもありがとう。Well, I will tell you more about how to celebrate New Year in Germany tomorrow. See you then.

Goooood evening. Today (or last night) it was snowy again here. Than, there wasn't any important at home. I did my homework in math and social studies. Nintendo DS!

I love to play with Nintendo DS. Cool games, you can play with touchscreen, you can play against people all over the world (via Internet and Nintendo-WiFi-Connection) and so on. I really enjoy playing Mario Kart DS (a fun racing game). It is so funny! Last night, there was a little snow here in Leipzig. At this morning, when the sun was shining, the snow looked brilliant.

Cool! It's now the morning of Dec. 25th and I got my presents yesterday.

I know, people in America get theyre presents on morning of Dec. 25th. Here in Europe it's different. We are getting the presents on Dec. 24th in the afternoon. I learned ' ぼくはりんごをたべます ' (boku wa ringo o tabemasu) (I am eating an apple) it's easy for me, but I sometimes make mistakes in writing. So, what you are doing? Nintendo DS Multimedia Player

Yeah! I got my Nintendo DS multimedia player today. With this player, you can play music, watch movies, enjoy flashgames and read TXT-files on your Nintendo DS or Gameboy Advance. It's a quite cool thing. The quality by watching movies is like watching on TV. You only need to buy an adapter and a compact flash card (type I - 128MB-2GB). The player comes with a free cd wich includes a lot of movie trailer and advertisments for Nintendo games. At an other cd, there is a program you need to convert your files into the Nintendo DS. It converts your files to GBM and GBS files. The only files you do not have to convert are WAV, TXT and uncompressed BMP. So, let's change the topic. I'm really happy, tomorrow is the last day at school this year. We will have xmas-holiday from Dec. 23th to Jan. 3rd. Do you are excited? I like xmas and new years eve very much.

Trainee test

Hey! Today, I went to a trainee test at the biggest telephone- and internet company in Germany. We had to do 3 parts, German, logicial things and Maths. I hope I will pass it. On my way back to home, the broke down, we (one of my classmates and I) had to change the tram. I went shopping some minutes at the central station and than I took train back home. Now, it's really late, I will load some music into my MP3-player.

XMas is coming!

It was very snowy this weekend in Leipzig. We enjoyed the snow very much, but now it's smelting away. If you want to see some snow-pictures, you must visit my gallery www.fpix.de.md. I uploaded many pictures there.
In 5 days it's XMAS. Do you got all your presents? I got mine, and I hope my family will happy with them. Well, I can read all hiragana now, in Unit 2 of my japanese studies there is something about food, I will practise it next time. By the way, I get Nintendo-USB-Connector at XMAS. If you got Mario Kart DS, we can meet us togehter and playing online. Wouldn't it be cool?
CSI:NY is on TV this evening, I wanna enjoy it. Maybe the story will be exciting.

Pre-examination and ugly weather everywhere

Today, we were writing our pre-examination in biology. It wasn't bad, not to easy and not to difficult. In this pre-examination you have two parts. In part one, you have to answer to three large standart-questions. In part two, you get three very huge questions, but you have to choose only one you would like to answer. To answer to this questions you have 150min. time. The real biology-examination I will write on May 31th, 2006, I hope I will pass it ;). Anyway.. here is really disgusting weather. Its stormy trough the whole day, sometimes, the wind is so strong that you have problems by walking away. Better to stay at home today. In the afternoon, there was a little bit snow, but it was smelting away in a few minutes. In Japanese studies, I know 35 of 46 hiragana letters. The newest one I learned were 　ま、み、む、め、も。 It's quite difficult, but it is a great thing to know. I'm also able to write easy japanese words by using the 35 letters I still know.

I'm fine, I went to the orthodontist today and tomorrow I have to go to dentist, because they are doing a check with my teeth every 6 months ^^. Todays school was soso, we had russian and arts-classes, it was OK but sometimes a bit boring.. At the picture, is a raindeer-decoration at my window, I think, it looks great! Ah, and don't think I'm in a prision, because the fench behind the raindeer, its only, that nobody fells down, my room is in the first floor. Hey! It's still ugly outside, but I really like me room ;) It's warm, nice, and so on ^^ At school, there wasn't any special. We had social studies, geography, german and maths classes. The classes were okay, only the two german classes were most boring ever. We talked about Shakespeare and his 'Romeo and Juliet'-tragedy. The tragedy is still OK, but the stuff our teacher told about it was so drowsy than never before. I also practised more japanese studies. I learned the letters 　な　に　ぬ　ね　の。And stabilized the a,k,s,t rows in hiragana. I also working to make a online photo gallery. I put in the right navigation a link to my photo gallery. Some persons (who recived a mail) can upload theire pictures there, but are pleased to upload no more than 10 pictures a month. The adress of the gallery is www.fpix.de.md.

Ugly outside...

Good morning!
Today, my teacher is ill and I don't have to go the first two classes to school.
In some minutes I have to go to the geography-lesson and I have to go by bike. Its a really ugly weather outside. The most time it's foggy, rainy, cloudy and so on. I wish here could be some snow.. At the picture, you can see how ugly it is here.
How is the weather in your city? I hope, it's better than here. Maybe I said, christmas holiday starts soon. It's from Dec. 23nd to Jan. 2nd. Do you have holidays and what you want to do? Yeah!
I finished my report about my practicial training from Oct. 10th to Oct. 14th 2005.
Here in my school, we have 2 practicial trainings. The first is in grade 9, the second in grade 10. Most times its placed in autumn-season. By the way. I still continue my japanese studies. At the moment, I'm learning the hiragana-letters . If you want to learn these letters to, or to check they, I found a great website.

There wasn't any special things today. We had 3 russian-classes and 2 arts-classes. In Russian classes we learned new vocabulary (clothes and colours) and did exercises. Two of my classmates were making a presentation about the romanic epoch in arts-classes. The presentation was good, but to long. This evening is "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" (DSDS) a german casting show and CSI:Las Vegas on TV. I will probably watch DSDS and record CSI on my computer. Yesterday, I was with my father and some family-friends in a english-styled pub. The Ciders (apple-beer) was really tasty! TRY IT! I was also eating "Fish'n'Chips". It was delicious! Some people says, the english cousine is ugly, but I think, it depends on the person. Last year, when I visited England for 10 days, my host-family made always very good meals. By the way, I posted a picture at the top left ^^ Its my dog! Do you like it? The picture on the right is a huge pine in our street. Every christmas-period the family who is living in the house behind the pine is decorating the pine with a lot of lights. It's one of the biggest pines in the whole city! The pine is more than 2 times higher as our house! Maybe you can see a house in the background of the pine (with yellow decoration on the roof). The top of the yellow decoration is the top of the house. Ahh! I have to say thanks for the comments of Miri and Suin! Thanks very much, I'm looking forward to read your comments *hehe*.
